Pekanbaru is my town

Pekanbaru is my town, in middle of Sumatra Island. This town develop to a big city. I love my town because, in this town I was born. So, many interesting in this town. Chevron, An American Oil Company had established in this town since 1930 that was still known as NPPM (Nederlands Petroleum Production Maskapij). Now, near this has established two paper fabric; Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper and Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper. In this town has established tree Mall; Anggrek Mall, Pekanbaru Mall, and SKA Mall. (Left Picture is Library Building and The Right Picture is Siak River) In this town has been streamed down by Siak river, split the town in two part north and south. Center of the town place in the south side. Siak river is used by the people for transportation, and fishing. Near Pekanbaru city twenty kilometers at south is also stream down the Kampar river. Kampar river is not as deep as Siak river, but more fish, so is more used by people for fishing then transportation. Contrast like the Siak river is till twelve meters depth so that big ship like tanker carrying oil to abroad is through Siak river. Oil Company like Chevron that was known as Caltex (Califonia Texas), used this river to export oil to all over the world.(in picture below is Pekanbaru Mall) Pekanbaru is developing city to Metropolitan have population about 754,448 persons as census year 2000. Spread in twenty kilometers squares. Average people works as employer in several kinds company, including in government offices and Department. Else is traders and some private business and many others.

Morning Gymnastic

Today, morning gimnastic the first time program do in Bustanul Ulum School. I take apart on it. Early confusing in mimicry the movement, becouse not clearly movement of the model in front. But in second part time the model take in the balcon of school. The model look clearly. I can follow the movement slowly. The Patron is four-four. Every four count the movement channge to difrent variacy patron. Just enjoy it, until felt to perspiration on it. Longs time I didn't sport. If this do every Saturday it is enough contribution increasing health. I intend to do this seriously if not any bare. And I hope to give useful in increasing health.

Earth Quake

Earth Quake had come to Pekanbaru In tuesday March 6, 2007.

That Earth Quake had made teachers and student in an Islamic Junior International school Bustanul Ulum Pekanbaru panic.
That Earth Quake had happen twice at 11:00, in local time. In first time quake children scattered out from study room to the school field followed the teachers.

After an hour waiting in school field, the pupils back to study. This happen however not made any damages but it is enough made the study process felt disturbed.

In the second time quake felt stronger, the children back home early. Indonesians television Metro TV reports that earth quake is 16 km from Batu Sangkar Village, West Sumatra province Indonesia, strengthen 5.8 Rechter Scale. But Riau Television (a Pekanbaru local television) has reports cited from Singapores Metrology institution reports that earth quake had been strength 6.6 Rechter scale.
