Malay is the tribe of Melanesia Race, that live in Riau Archipelago province Indonesia, the both bank of Malaka narrows and West bank of Kalimantan Island. Following one of The China's ancient book, said about a thousand years before Christ had been envoy from Malay kingdom to came to China's Kingdom. The people of Malay then spread around the Malaka's Narrows, it is modern developing to be crowd, become one of world trade center because Riau Archipelago and Tumasik is place of meeting trade road, It is one of Marine Silk road from China to Tumasik, Riau Archipelago, Talikut India, untill Mediterranean Sea through Pcopyrigersian gulf and Hormus Narrows.

Riau area is a strong economic trade for the kingdom of Srivijaya. This is proved by the results of Natural resources that become export commodity by the kingdom of Srivijaya.
